Toy-maker Lego is making 13,000 face visors a day to protect nurses, doctors, and other health care staff in Denmark on the front lines of the COVID-19 outbreak.
What is a face visor? It is a type of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). It usually is a transparent shield with handles to go over ears. It covers the eyes and doctors feel more protected. It is intended to offer an additional layer of protection between health workers’ eyes and COVID-19 patients.
In another initiative, LEGO has gifted 500,000 building sets to children in need with their rainbow campaign. To participate in this campaign scroll down.
Here is a fun campaign they have launched:
1. Create a rainbow 🌈
2. Share it with #LetsBuildTogether
3. Tag 3 friends and nominate them to build and share rainbows!
The company says the rainbows are “symbols of hope,” which is certainly something we can all use right now.
