Social distancing means keeping yourself away from large gatherings, and at a distance of about 6 feet from others around you.
Why are we talking about this? We know that the Covid-19 virus is spread via droplets let into the air when an infected person sneezes or coughs. The symptoms of a dry cough and high fever sometimes don’t start for a few days after a person has been infected, so there are probably many people around us who might be infected but don’t know they are. Governments and doctors are asking for people to keep a ‘social distance’ from each other so that we can slow down the transmission of the virus.
