Adrian Cheng is a young business tycoon who runs a jewellery company and a property development company in Hong Kong. He is also an avid art collector.
He wants to help people during the coronavirus crisis, and so has done something pretty cool – he has built vending machines that will give out face masks to people. Face masks are a physical barrier of protection against the coronavirus, and there has been a shortage of them around the world.
He is placing 35 of these vending machines around the most needy areas of Hong Kong, and in the first batch, is making 10 million masks available to people free of charge. This minimises contact, and provides the much needed protection to those who need it.
Now that’s what we call thinking out of the box!
