The UK Supreme Court says Boris Johnson is in trouble. What’s going on?

Boris Johnson, the Prime Minister of the UK, has been trying to push Brexit through either with a deal with the EU, or without.

He dealt what he thought was a masterful stroke, and was able to put a process called ‘prorogation’ in place, to send the UK Parliament on a break at an unscheduled time, so that they would have less time to oppose his idea of the UK leaving the EU without a deal – a ‘no deal Brexit’.

This suspension of Parliament has just been deemed unlawful or illegal by the UK Supreme Court. So the Ministers of Parliament will soon return to debate this hot issue.
